23 Feb Asian Chemical Co., Ltd. Partners with Raks Thai Foundation to Donate Blankets to Cold-Affected People
ACC organized a CSR activity to donate blankets to people affected by cold weather in the northern region, where the cold has impacted their health and well-being.
Recently, Asian Chemical Co., Ltd. (ACC), a manufacturer and distributor of chemicals (Copper Sulfate) in the animal nutrition group, wastewater treatment chemicals (Ferric Chloride), and chemicals for the electronics industry, organized a CSR activity. The company is certified with international standards ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, FAMI-QS, HACCP, and GMP, and has a strong base of leading customers both domestically and internationally.
ACC donated 300 winter blankets to the Raks Thai Foundation to help people affected by the cold in several sub-districts of Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province. A survey conducted by the Raks Thai Foundation in the area revealed that a large number of ethnic communities live on the high mountains, and their health and well-being, especially that of children and the elderly, have been severely affected by the cold. They lack proper winter protection equipment, and there are also boarding schools with many students who need assistance.
