30 Jun ACC’s Our River Our Home at Baan Pla Thanakarn Poo, Bang Pakong
On June 14, 2025, Asian Chemical Co., Ltd. reaffirmed its commitment to social and environmental responsibility through the ACC GO GREEN project. The company organized a nature-focused activity titled “Our River, Our Home” at the Baan Pla Thanakarn Poo, Bang Pakong in Chachoengsao Province, mobilizing volunteer employees to create sustainable change for the mangrove ecosystem and the community.
This event was not only a show of green solidarity but also a continuation of ACC’s strong resolve to conserve and enhance the environment. Its primary objectives focused on restoring the mangrove ecosystem by bringing abundance back to this vital forest, which serves as a nursery for various aquatic animals, and creating habitats and food sources. This was achieved by providing a sustainable sanctuary for the diverse flora and fauna of the mangrove forest. A crucial final objective was to instill a sense of awareness, encouraging and motivating employees to recognize the importance of nature conservation and to participate in sustainable environmental preservation.
The operation was honored by the presence of senior management, including Mr. Thayut Srirungrojana, Managing Director, and Mrs. Mallika Srirungrojana, Assistant Managing Director of the Administration Division. They were joined by the enthusiastic power of all ACC volunteer employees, who gathered with smiles, happiness, and a strong determination to do good for nature and the local community.
Mr. Thawatchai Keeratirakhawisit, the “Our River, Our Home” project executive, spoke about the success of the event, stating, “‘Our River, Our Home’ is not just about planting trees; it’s about creating smiles for the community and driving sustainable local economic development. It is also a testament to ACC’s decade-long commitment to social activities (CSR) under the CH2E model (Community, Humanity, Education, Environment). This model is a key foundation for creating benefits, providing opportunities, and continuously improving the quality of life for society and the environment in the country.”
